Thank you for your interest in serving as a reviewer for the BEST Teacher Grant Program, please review the information below to learn more.

Overview

As a reviewer, you will be invited to review between four and eight grant applications from BEST Teacher Grant applicants in your region. You will use the BEST Teacher Grant Rubric to determine a score for each grant application. Each review should take 10-20 minutes to complete, and each application will be assessed by three reviewers. Scores and comments from each reviewer will be factored into the final decision.

Please familiarize yourself with the application review rubric and grant guidelines before conducting your review. The rubric is embedded here for your reference.

Please note that all applicants have access to the rubric as a resource while writing their applications.

Review Period:

The review period for the 2023-24 grant cycle is November 6 - November 22, 2023.

Review Software

The BEST Teacher Grant Program uses online software to simplify our Grant Application process. You can access the reviewer portal at bosch.fluxx.io. A member of the BEST Teacher Grants team will create an account for you, and you will receive an email with your username and password. This software will:

Send an automated email when you have been assigned proposals to review;
Display new proposals for review;
Allow you to resume a review that you started earlier;
Allow you to view reviews you have already submitted.

Inquiry-Based Learning

The BEST Teacher Grant Program seeks proposals for inquiry-based learning experiences, including project-based and place-based opportunities. You can find our definitions for these terms here.
